This structure is located on an island on Lake Winnipesaukee near Meredith, NH. It was built in the 1960’s to replace a hall that had burned down, and features an innovative roof structure. The building extends partially over the water, and suffered from years of weather and water damage. Most of the floor structure was rebuilt to be better resistant to the water below, and all new window and door configurations give the space much flexinbility and greater usability through the seasons.
